The Textile Ministry of Government of India has launched the Samarth Plant 2018, the main aim of this scheme is to train and give employment in textile sector. The name of this scheme is Samarth Yojana 2018.
Under this scheme, the central government will give skill training to the youth to promote employment in textile sector. CCEA’s meeting, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the scheme. Under this scheme the government will train more than 10 lakh young people from 2017 to 2020 in 3 years.
How To Apply For Samarth Yojana 2018
- Initially, the government launched this scheme for the capacity building of young workers in organized as well as traditional garments groups.
- The main objective of this scheme is to achieve the export of $ 300 billion in the textile sector by the year of 2025 as well as to provide skill development training to 10 lakh youths.
- The Central Government has allocated 1300 crores for this scheme. Excluding spinning and knitting will also cover the entire costume value chain.
