Bihar government has started Bihar Education Loan Scheme 2018. Under this scheme, the state government will provide education loan to student at the interest rate of 4% and for the state student interest rate is 1%.

Overview Of Bihar Education Loan Scheme 2018

  • Students have to pay loan after 1 year of completing their education.
  • The student can easily take admission for engineering, medical as well as in other field.
  • Under the Seven Decisions, the State Government will also provide the BSEFC loan on the credit card.
  • On 4th April Nitiish Kumar inaugurated BSEFC in Patna. Further, its branch will be in Bhagalpur DRCCs.

How To Apply For Bihar Education Loan Scheme 2018

  • After completing the enrollment in course the students will have to apply for seven fixed credit card.
  • Students should prepare application of educational documents, institution recognition and estimated expenditure with the details and details of the application.
  • Documents as well as application will be verified at DRC counter.
  • After documents verification the government will verify regarding residence as well as institute.
  • After checking report, they will submit application to  BSEFC .
  • Now, after completing these process, they will issue the loan amount in the students’ account.

Students Have To Give NOC

DRCC Manager Ashok Kumar Singh said that all new applicants of the state will get the loan. For this the students have to submit NOC.

Required Documents For Bihar Education Loan Scheme 2018

  1. Selection Certificate from the Higher Education Institute.
  2. Detailed documentation of fees for education issued by the institute.
  3. Residence Certificate
  4. 12th certificate
  5. Pan card
  6. Two photographs of students, parents as well as garaneter
  7. Income certificate of previous year as well as form-16
  8. Income benefits of last two years.
  9. Bank statements of parents of last two years.
  10. Other identification proof such as Aadhar card, voter id as well as pan card, driving license, voter id card.
