Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (PMSBHGY) is a plan is to provide electricity to every household for 24 hours every day. The benefit of this scheme will be available to those people who have not yet been able to get the electricity connection due to lack of funds.
Under this, the target set-up gave to all the houses present in all the states till March 31, 2019.

Budget Of Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (PMSBHGY)
This scheme is about Rs 16,320 crore. In this, the Central Government will help 60%. For the States coming in the special category, 85% help from the Center will be provided.
10% contribution to the scheme will be from state governments. Financial Institutions and banks will also fund the remaining 30%. Government will spend 14 thousand crores to provide electricity to the houses present in the villages. Government will also spend 1700 crores to provide electricity to the urban areas.

- To provide free electricity connections, the figures of social, economic and caste census 2011 will be in use.

You will have to go to the link ie http://saubhagya.gov.in/ and at the top of this link, you will see a guest option in the right side and you will have to go to that option. On going to this page, you will find a form and you will have to fill that form after which you complete your regestration.
Mobile app Regestration
- For this scheme, if you want to get your registration through the mobile app, then you have to download the app related to the scheme in your mobile.
- Now you have to fill in a form given in that app and submit it to the form. After that your registration will complete to get electricity connection.
Training Programme
- Under this scheme government has also launched new training program, which aim is of boosting electricity.
- Union Minister RK Singh have launched these new skill development training programs and these new programs will run in six states.
- The names of those states who will get focus for this scheme are Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh and Assam.
- The Ministry of Power, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship will work together to achieve the targets designed under these new skill development programs.
- In fact, the lack of trained persons was being achieved to achieve the goal of this scheme.
- But now the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship will provide help to overcome this shortcoming and provide the trained people to the above mentioned states.
